Our Story
Our family history started with Jim Williams in 1865.
Jim married Effie Cannon. They had 2 children: Eldridge Williams and Iola Williams Free.
Iola Williams married Jack Free. Their children were (1) Robert, (2) Herbert, (3) Berges, and (4) George.
Eldridge Williams married Carrie Dawkins. They had 12 children. They were (1) Jank, (2) Wern, who died at birth, (3) Robert Williams from Virginia, (4) Claude Williams from Virginia, Married Ethel Tobias. (5) Bernice Williams from Pomaria. Married Buddy Caldwell. (6) Foster Jack Williams from Pomaria. Married Ethel Williams. (7) Eddie Williams from Pomaria. Married Ruby Edwards from Philadelphia. (8) Doretha Williams married John Lane from Pomaria. (9) Woodrow Williams married Addie and moved to Ohio. (10) Sammie Pep Williams married Callie from Pomaria. (11) Essie Lee Williams married Will Suber from Pomaria. (12) Joe Heyward married Dolly Ann Chaplin from Pomaria.
Jim also had 6 other children by Rachel Cannon. Their names were George Williams Sr married Ethel Cannon, Will, Walter, and Babe Williams, all from Pomaria.
